The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration recently released this startling video illustrating the dramatic disappearance of Arctic sea ice from 1990 through 2015. White indicates the multi-year ice that is the foundation of the entire Arctic ecosystem. Notice how much is left in 2015.
